Being a sex addict in Alaska can affect child custody

Child custody matters can sometimes be overwhelming. Alaska courts tend to look into what's in the best interest of the children in determining which parent will get custody. However, there are certain issues that may affect child custody, including being a sex addict.

Are child custody laws changing in Alaska?

When parents are fighting for custody of their children, the courts tend to award custody to mothers. However, Alaska fathers may want to spend more time with their children, and the National Parents Organization suggests that children benefit more when both parents are actively involved in their lives. Many believe that joint child custody should be awarded as long as both parents are fit and there are no signs of abuse.
