Dan Allan has practiced law for over 30 years, and moved to Anchorage and opened his own practice in 1981. He is a former prosecutor who has tried numerous murder cases and built a reputation in Alaska's legal circles for his skilled defense in drunk driving (DUI) cases. As a family law practitioner, he has guided many hundreds of clients through the rough times of divorce to a brighter future. Several firm cases have resulted in published decisions of the Alaska Supreme Court.
Phyllis Ann Shepherd brings more than 25 years of experience as a family law attorney in Alaska, helping clients in all aspects of divorce, custody, support and related matters.
Stephanie Patel was born in Alaska, and returned here after completing her education in 1980 to practice law. Her criminal defense practice includes felony offenses and serious DUI cases. She also is a skilled divorce, custody and support advocate.
Michael Gorman holds an LL.M. degree (Master of Laws), and served as a Special Assistant Attorney General (criminal prosecutor) before joining the law firm of Dan Allan & Associates in 2004.
Christina Alfonso earned her law degree in 2002 and joined our criminal defense practice in 2005. She is co-owner of a kayaking and tourism charter service in Prince William Sound.
Ian Wheeles joined the law firm in 2008, and has tirelessly pursued and accomplished the goals of his divorce and criminal defense clients since joining the firm.
